Assembly Instructions: 3 Easy Parts

Assembling your product is quick and simple, as easy as 1, 2, 3! With just a few steps, you can have it set up in no time.

Follow the steps below to attach the PurrArm (arm), PurrClamp or PurrStand (rod), and PurrLoft (kitty cove) securely, ensuring a sturdy and functional setup for your feline friend.

  • A | PurrLoft Desk Clamp

Assemble the PurrArm together with the PurrLoft. Slide the PurrArm down the PurrClamp or PurrStand (might require a wiggle). Then secure it using the knob, making sure it's nice and sturdy for your feline friend.

  • B | PurrLoft Floor Stand

Assemble the desk mounting clamp system or floor standing system and position it at your kitty's favorite lookout spot, then secure it by turning the knob and or suction cups.

  • The PurrLoft 🧺

Place the Kitty Cove on the beam and fasten it with the screws and washers. Then pick a memory foam cushion color to complete the perfect PurrLoft for your cat to relax and purrch over.

1 | Cat Pillar (Rod)

Collapsible content

Components Required

  1. Main rod with mounting plate (top)
  2. L-shaped bracket (left)
  3. Screws (two small ones)
  4. Bolt with knob (center)
  5. Support-Washer disc (center right)
  6. Small screw (below the washer)
  7. Two Allen keys (bottom right)

Step 1: Prepare the L-Shaped Bracket with the Bolt

  1. Begin by inserting the bolt with knob (#4) into the single hole of the L-shaped bracket (#2).
  2. Screw the bolt in deeper so that the tip of the bolt passes the position of the bracket's top hole.

Step 2: Attach the Washer-Support Disc

  1. Place the Washer-Support Disc (#5) over the bolt (#4).
  2. Secure them with the small screw (#6), tightening it with the screwhead Allen key provided.

Step 3: Attach the L-Shaped Bracket to the Main Rod

  1. Align the L-shaped bracket (#2) with the long rod (#1), avoiding the first hole.
  2. Choose the second, third, or fourth hole depending on the thickness of your desk.

Note: For most desks, the second and third holes will provide a good fit. Use the third and fourth holes together for thicker desks.

Step 4: Tighten the Screws

  1. Secure the L-shaped bracket to the long rod using the two small screws (#3).
  2. Ensure that the L-shaped bracket's surface is flush against the flat surface of the long rod.
  3. Tighten the screws using the thicker blunt Allen key to ensure a snug fit.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the product is securely fastened before use.
  • Regularly check screws and bolts for stability.

2 | Cat Beam (Arm)

Collapsible content

Components Required

1x Cat Beam (Arm)
1x Cat Pillar (Rod)
1x Mini Allen Key

Step 1: Loosen the screws on the Cat Beam using the mini allen key

To begin, use the mini allen key to loosen the two screws located on the thicker portion of the Cat Beam's arm. This will allow you to adjust its position on the Cat Pillar.

Step 2: Slide the Cat Beam down the Cat Pillar, ensuring the Mounting Bracket faces up

Once the screws are loosened, gently slide the Cat Beam down the Cat Pillar (which should already be attached to your table).

  • Ensure that the Mounting Bracket is facing upwards. You may need to wiggle it slightly, as the rotating mechanism is fresh from production and might be a bit stiff.

Step 3: Adjust the Cat Beam to the desired height and tighten the screws securely.

Once you've positioned the Cat Beam at the height you prefer, tighten both screws again using the mini allen key. This will lock the beam securely in place.

  • Make sure the screws are tight enough to prevent the Cat Beam from slipping under the weight of your cat. However, avoid tightening them too much, as this could make future adjustments difficult.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the product is securely fastened before use.
  • Regularly check screws and bolts for stability.

3 | The PurrLoft

Components Required

4x Screws
4x Washers
1x Mini Wrench
1x DeskPurrch
1x Cat Beam (Mounting Bracket)

Place the DeskPurrch on top of the Cat Beam's mounting bracket. Make sure to align the two sets of holes—the underside is the bracket, and the upperside is the DeskPurrch.

Step 2: Pass the Screw Through & Fasten with the Washer

Using one hand, push the screw up through both the mounting bracket and the DeskPurrch. Secure with a washer using the other hand.

Step 3: Repeat for Other Holes & Tighten with Mini Wrench

Repeat this process for the remaining screws, then tighten all of them with the mini wrench.

Care Instructions: Easy Care for Long-Lasting Comfort

Keep your PurrLoft in top condition with our simple care tips. From washing the cushion to maintaining the metal and wood components, we’ve made it easy to ensure your cat’s favorite spot stays clean and comfortable for years to come.

  • General Maintenance

The Purrloft framework is made from a very dense foam that is lightweight for easy handling. However, despite its density, it is still prone to damage from sharp objects or excessive pressure, so handle with care.

    • Regular cleaning isn’t required for the foam framework, but if necessary, use a lint roller to remove loose fur or debris from the surface.

  • Cleaning the Loft Area

    1. Start by using a lint roller to remove any loose fur or dust from the fabric cover and the foam surface.
    2. If further cleaning is needed, unzip the fabric cover and remove it from the foam frame. The fabric cover can then be washed as instructed.
    3. For the foam framework, it generally does not require cleaning for dust or dirt. However, if liquid is spilled on the loft, first remove the fabric cover and then gently wipe the foam with a damp cloth or wet wipe.
    • Be cautious to avoid soaking the foam or exposing it to excessive moisture, as this can affect its structure
  • Care Instructions for Soft Fabric Cover

    Regular Cleaning:

    • Use a lint roller or vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove pet hair and dirt from the fabric.
    • For best results, clean regularly to maintain its soft appearance.

    Deep Cleaning:

    • Turn Inside Out: Turn the fabric inside out before washing to protect the soft surface.
    • Gentle Cycle: Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
    • Air Dry: Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid tumble drying to maintain the fabric’s integrity.

    Additional Care:

    • Avoid fabric softeners, as they can leave a residue on the fabric.
    • Do not bleach or expose to high heat, which can degrade the material.
  • Care Instructions for Woven Mat

    Regular Cleaning:

    • Use a vacuum cleaner or lint roller to remove dirt, dust, and pet hair from both sides of the mat.
    • For quick spot cleaning, gently dab with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the material.

    Deep Cleaning:

    • Handwash: Soak the mat in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Gently scrub with a soft brush. Avoid wringing or twisting.
    • Drying: Lay the mat flat in a shaded area to dry. Ensure it is completely dry before use to maintain its shape and durability.

    Additional Care:

    • Avoid machine washing or using harsh chemicals as these can damage the fibers.
    • Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Metal Arm & Clamp Maintenance

Periodically check the screws and the clamp to ensure they remain securely fastened. Over time, normal use may loosen the components, so tighten as needed using the provided tool or a standard screwdriver.

  • Rotating Loft

The rotating and pivoting mechanism should stay smooth with regular use. If it feels stiff or hard to rotate, wipe the connection points with a damp cloth and apply a small amount of pet-safe lubricant.

  • Prolonging the Lifespan

    • Keep the Purrloft away from direct sunlight and moisture to ensure the foam and fabric last longer.
    • Encourage gentle use from your cat to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
    • If you need to disassemble the PurrLoft for storage or transport, unscrew the clamp gently and store the parts in a dry, cool area. Avoid placing heavy objects on the wood or metal pieces to prevent warping or damage.
